I don’t have to do what everyone else is doing — and frankly, I couldn’t care less if that bothers you.
I’m not here to follow trends, meet expectations, or make myself comfortable for people who can’t handle different.
Just because everyone is running in the same direction doesn’t mean I’m stupid enough to follow them.
I don’t need the crowd to validate my choices, my opinions, or the way I live my life.
If fitting in requires me to compromise who I am, then fitting in can go straight to hell.
I have no interest in being another predictable face in a sea of conformity.
Tell me I’m different — I’ll take that as a compliment.
Tell me I’m doing it wrong — I’ll probably keep doing it exactly the way I want.
I’ve stopped explaining myself to people who have already decided they won’t understand.
Your expectations are your problem, not mine.
I’d rather walk alone on a road I chose than march happily down a path someone else designed for me.
I don’t need permission, approval, applause, or a seat at your table.
I know who I am, I know what I want, and I’m perfectly comfortable saying no.
So go ahead and follow the crowd.
I’ll be over here, doing things my way — unapologetically, deliberately, and without giving a damn.
